Empowering the Cultural and Creative Industries through Partnership with UNESCO Transcultura

At atingi, strong partnerships are the foundation of accessible, high-quality digital learning. We’re proud to announce a new collaboration with the UNESCO Transcultura Programme, which has brought 10 new online courses to the platform – available in English, Spanish, and French.

These massive open online courses (MOOCs) aim to empower young professionals in the Caribbean cultural and creative industries, with practical training in fields like digital art, brand design, handmade animation, cinema, dance, tourism, and more. The courses were developed with regional experts and cultural institutions, ensuring content that is locally relevant and globally valuable.

  7. Art and Digital Creation: Understanding and Dreaming the World!
  8. Special Effects in Cinema: The Art of Illusion
  9. From Literature to Cinema: Theory and Practice
  10. Caribbean Salsa: A Legacy of Rhythm and Resistance

These courses join 30+ others on tourism and hospitality already featured on atingi through the Transcultura Programme, helping foster sustainable and inclusive development.
