Who or what is a Digital Enquirer?
A Digital Enquirer is someone who knows how to identify false information and how to find, analyze, verify, and safely share reliable information online. And what does Enquirer mean in general? That is someone who asks questions, wants to learn more, and thinks about their own actions.
What will you learn?
In this course, you will become an attentive Digital Enquirer and learn how to protect yourself and your devices. Furthermore, you will learn:
- How to handle information in the digital world
- How to identify false information and how to deal with it
- How to protect your friends, family, and others
How long will it take you to do the course?
The course is divided into eight lessons and you will need about one to two hours for the complete course. Our lessons consist of several chapters and you can discover them at your own pace.

Information for caregivers and teachers
In addition to the DEK Youth, there is a Facilitator´s Guide. With this guide we want to support teachers, parents, educators, and other caregivers to use the DEK Youth course in class, with their family or in a youth club.
As the DEK Youth course is aimed at young people above the age of 10, we deliberately do not collect any data. This means, for example, that no cookies are used.
Adults as well as young people, who would like to learn more after completing this course, are invited to visit the DEK course on atingi.
